TrakIT Privacy Policy

TrakIT does not collect your data. There is no account to create, no server of ours for anything to be sent to, and no analytics or advertising code in the app. This page explains what that means in practice and what the app does touch.

What TrakIT stores, and where

Everything you put into TrakIT—the things you track, their names, notes, categories, colours, photos, and completion history—is stored on your device.

If you have iCloud enabled, that data syncs through your own private iCloud database, so it appears on your other Apple devices. This uses Apple’s CloudKit private database, which means:

• The data lives in your personal iCloud account, not in an account with us.
• We cannot see, read, or retrieve it. Neither can anyone else.
• Deleting TrakIT and its iCloud data removes it entirely.

If you turn iCloud off, TrakIT works exactly the same way, with everything kept on that one device.

Permissions

TrakIT asks for three permissions, each only when you use the feature that needs it. You can refuse any of them and the rest of the app works unchanged.

Contacts — only if you choose to import birthdays. TrakIT reads names and birthdays once at that moment, shows you the list, and keeps only the ones you choose. It does not store a copy of your address book or read it again unless you open the importer.

Calendar — only if you choose to import events. The same applies: TrakIT reads the events once, on request, and keeps only the ones you choose.

Notifications — only if you enable a reminder. Your device schedules and delivers reminders; nothing about them leaves it.

TrakIT also lets you attach a photo to something you are tracking. You choose the photo through the system picker; it is resized and stored with that item like any other part of it.

Purchases

TrakIT Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name, or Apple Account. The app learns only whether the current device holds the purchase, and that check happens between your device and Apple.

Children

TrakIT collects nothing from anyone, of any age. It has no accounts, messaging, shared user-generated content, or advertising.

Third parties

There are none. TrakIT contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash-reporting service, or advertising networks, and makes no network requests of its own. The only external service involved is Apple’s: iCloud syncs data to your own account, and the App Store processes purchases.

Apple’s handling of that data is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because TrakIT collects nothing, a change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new practice.
